NOTD: Sephora L32 Prom Night

I brought this for $1 in Sephora during their Boxing Day sale in Vancouver. It's light in the bottle but much much darker on the nail.

Why is this called Prom night? Green for the dieases you might catch? (^^)

I LOVE THE BRUSH! On my smaller nails, 1 stroke and I was done. It's sorta like the OPI pro-wide but better. I found it (despite the small cap) easy to manover.

Yes, my nails are short and uneven. I was sick and I chopped off all my nails cos I was scratching myself in my sleep. Poor nubbins. But, I am also much better now.
With flash. Accurate colour. Pardon the shadow. Creamy teal green.

Without flash it looks like a mossy green.
I love this creame! It's easy to apply and super pigmentated.

I was suprised how good the Sephora range is. It easily fits into the one coat of Skinfood now.

Yes, my hand. One coat. AMAZING!

Elianto Dark Sea Green No. 30

Hello ladies!

I love jellies. They are my favorite finish. Yummy.

It's a lot more blue than green. In the dark it looks blue. But in the light it is more green.

Still, very YUMMY!

Indoors with flash.
Outdoors in sunlight.

Plain bottle but very cheap! Only RM$5.

And I have decided what I DO NOT WANT FOR CHRISTMAS!

And today's the last day for the contest.

So, come on! :)

Luck of the Irish

Hello ladies!

OPI Who the Shrek are you?, Jade is the New Black and Skinfood white all on my toes. Luck of the irish I say!

Warning! Toes ahead.

I just really like this colour combination. I applied it a bit haphazardly but I always made a mess of my toes :P Anyway, it all peels off in the shower.

So, don't forget to enter! I will use a random number picker thingie from the internet.

Good luck! :) Maybe you can try my lucky toes!

Leafy Konad

Hi ladies!

A forest green with white leaves? Classic! Forget the state of my hands and handiwork. I haven't konaded in so long. Was super shakey. Plus this plate was meant as a French tip one. So I tried layered 2 stamps to join up!

FAIL!

But now I know and I might try this again. It looks like a camouflage pattern. Speaking of which...

My brother is in the army. In Singapore, all males must go through National Service for 2 years. (Yes, that is the pattern of our Army uniform.) So, my dog, Floppy, had to as well. Being a boy and all.

Yes, SIR!

At ease, Cadet!

YES SIR! Thank you SIR!
*pant*

Also, the garden has been doing well. :) It's the rainy season so the flowers are blooming!

Cookie wanted a picture too :)
Yes, I'm such a poser. But my hair is now red. And I need a picture of that but not today. I'm having a bit of a cold and I look and feel gross.

Can you believe its ALMOST Christmas?

And I'm leaving Singapore for Canada in 15 days!
*squeal*

NOTD: First Konad in AGES

Hi ladies!

2 coats of each and a swirly konad and you get.... But on a side note, the P2 was really pigmentated.
I don't know why but my Konad top coat dried all crinkly even though I was good and didnt move.

Also, my next manicure inspration!
Ooooooo! It does match my nails now but I want to do the 'one line one line' thing.

NOTD: LA Girl's Head Banging

Hey ladies!

This is banging! I'm beginning to love the formula on these more than OPIs!
Ooooo SHimmer! I'm such a green fiend!

I fell asleep with wet nails thus the hair streaks. This is 2 coars and I kept it on for 4 days! There is tipwear but considering how rough I am, they stood up well.

And I am trying a new eye mask from Faceshop. It's a gel mask. My skin has been blotchy... So!
It's designed for the eye area. They are squishy at first, but after 30mins, the eye masks become drier and thinner, like paper. It's cool!
It smells divine too! As it should be, being that close to my nose. I'm going to use one once a week for a while and let's see if my eye bags get better. Only thing is that it's a bit expensive. $4.95 per use. Hmmm...

DISCLAIMER: I brought all of these on my own, with my own money. It's MY opinion.

Old NOTD: Frosty Goodness

Rainbow polishes were afoot again! Again, nameless and numberless. Nothing on the bottle to indicate anything.
With flash indoors. Most colour accurate.
VNL very visible. I used 3 thin coats. I don't like frosts but I keep buying them. *palm to face* And I HATE VNL. I think it's soooo ugly. Needless to say, this lasted on my nails for 5 minutes. Just to take pictures.

And some products I love. Note the pretty packaging!

Jill Stuart Fruit and Aroma Mist. Rose scented. It moistures the skin with just a spray! And it smells heavenly too. I do use this on occasion to set my makeup. Or before I apply my liquid foundation.
Anna Sui makeup base primer. It's a WONDER! If I use it, my foundation lasts alllll night, even with dancing and sweat. Plus, like all Anna Sui products, it smells so good. I love the scent of roses but I'm not too fond of the flavour.

PS I know I say frosty goodness, although I don't like the finish, but it is GOOD for a frost. I guess.

NOTD: (or some at least) The Edge Barcelona

I swapped this with Jen from nailpolish uk. It's an awesome polish. Blue in some lights, green in others. The above picture, I had just a coat on. Plus I was lazy and only painted 3 nails. Although dry time was short, I was too lazy to paint the pinky.
It matches my bed sheets! Again, it's a raining in Singapore. All pictures taken indoors with flash.
The middle finger is how it looks like in most lights.
Note the frosty finish? Yummy!

I like this polish and would deffo do a whole manicure with it. It's just that I'm heading out Friday night and this colour doesnt go with my dress. :)

NOTD: In the Garden (Land and air ^.^)

Hi ladies!

I took out the brushes and did some nail art ALL BY MYSELF. Even my right hand. Wah!

I used Revlon Red (2coats) for the ladybugs. PA dark jelly green (4 coats) for the grass.

Cute right? I'm loving it! Even though the bugs are a bit cross eyed.

Then I used a nameless/numberless Rainbow creme blue (2 easy coats)

Tadah! It's a lovely colour.
A bee! It's not original, I saw it on some one's blog a while back and I can't remember who! But it's a great simple idea. I can't believe I drew that bee with my left hand. Not bad considering huh?

So you like? Does anyone else draw funny things on their fingers too? ^^

NOTD: Purple Flowers

First I applied a single coat of OPI's Done out in Deco.

And a coat of Skinfood. It's a shimmery purple. For some reason I can't upload that photo of the bottle. Bah.
In sun. No flash.
In shade. No flash. 2nd photo blurred to show shimmer and glitter.

Then I employed slave labour, I mean a friend, to paint purple flowers with my paints.

All taken in  shade with no flash. Not bad huh? It was his first time :P

And BYS Fern on my tootises. 2 coats. Formula was a bit drippy and the brush was not great. But I do love the colour. I should have done 3 coats but I'm lazy.
