I made a trip to guess where today?

*cue evil laughter*

Yes, the ultimate sin store in Singapore. Sephora. For me anyway.

I did get the phone call and was told, "Yes, you may come today to collect your palette."

So, after work I went down as quick as I could. Just in case they changed their minds. ^^

And being at Sephora, can you stop at just one palette?

The answer is NO.

So I got the Sephora mini polish in Blue Sapphire. And an under the nail whitening pencil. I just thought to try it just once. Sadly, they don't bring in the Opi for Sephora range. I really want Leaf Him at the Altar.

I also got myself the Urban Decay de-slick mattifying powder. Sooooo pretty. Purple is one of the best colours ever.

And yes. I GOT IT! *swoon*

Look at all the pretty colours. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I am in heaven at the moment. Pretty pretty bliss.

And also, since I spent so much at Urban Decay, (over $120) I got all these as a gift. A bottle of oil-free makeup remover. The artwork is by Ami James.

The 2 eyeshadows are Midnight Cowboy (pale bronzey) and Goddess (blue). The 2 eyeliner pencils are Electric (blue) and Covet (green). And a tiny bottle of mascara.

So for $150, I got 6 free items. I will do some swatches tomorrow.

Bliss, bliss, bliss. Who needs anything else? Except more nail polish! (^.^)

Copycat: All Lacquered Up's Look

This was done free hand. This is my left hand and looks quite a bit nicer than my right hand. I got the inspiration from All Lacquered UP's blog.

For the nail polish, I used

1. Skinfood 21ww1 080822 (Light green.)
2. Skinfood 21vx1 090722 (Bluey-green)
3. OPI's Here today Aragon tomorrow (Dark green on thumb)

I still LOVE skinfood's brushes. The light green was 3 coats and the bluey one was 2 coats. OPI was 2 coats as well. The picture was taken after 4 days of wear. I only really have tip wear from the OPI but the rest looks pretty good.

So, watcha think?

PS Still crossing fingers for my Alice in Wonderland palette. Please please please!

Urban Decay: Alice in Wonderland Palette

This is my ultimate item of lust, at the moment. There are only going to be 300 sets in Singapore. I am on the waiting list. At number 100ish? Sephora, please be kind. I truly want. I WANT I WANT!

I think this might be something new. My makeup looks (as and when I get a decent picture ^.^) and my lust items.

NOTD: Candy Nails

To cheer me grumpy self up, I painted my nails candy colours for Chinese New Year! Sorry they are so blurred.

I used just two coats for each nail. I used my entire Pedicure collection from Skinfood. And tried using my dog as a backdrop. Did it work?

I shall post up pictures of the bottles soon. :)

It's been a while...

Hey all! I have been busy. Not much time to swatch.

Also I'm sick with stomach flu, had my wallet stolen (and returned, sans cash), was in a minor car accident and just feeling weepy in general.

The above image is taken from PostSecret from a while back. It sums out how I feel at the moment.

Someone who was special (and I think will always be, worse luck) tried coming back into my life. He fucked me over last year and now texts me with a "I'm sorry, let's hang out."

Boo to you. Although we might have been destined for each other, maybe we still are, but if you can't respect or love me the way that I should be, it's not meant to be at all.

I still wish him the best. But, leave me alone. Nothing one says can make up for all the crap.

On a happier note, I think I have more time for nail polish again.
