Swaps!

Hi all!

This is my 'willing-to-swap' list.

Some of the nail polishes have been swatched once, some are used (like 20% gone), and some look used but if we swap, I will go out and buy a new bottle for you! I shall indicate where and what and if that is the bottle you are getting a a new one. :)

Just a warning: A lot of the korean nail polishes have numbers and letters as names. Ex: PK3637
So to save time, I didn't type those out. Just indicate from left to right (or whatever plugs your tub, whatever floats your boat, whatever roasts your chestnuts or whatever wraps your wontons, ummm you get the picture) and say which bottle. Easy peasy lemon sqeezy? :)

These are are unused. The Missha ones are the same polish. From left to right, the first one is full and the other is 80% full. I say missing cos it just came like that. Fuso red and Fuso Red Glitter. Honey Sweet blue/gray. All this are unswatched and new.
From left to right, Sally Hansen Spell (70% full), Sally Hansen Lavender Envy (swatched), Pedicure White (80% left), Sally Hansen Black Out (Used for frankening only), Sally Hansen True Love (Swatched once) and Revlon Copperglaze Platinum (swatched once).
These Rainbow polishes are nameless. But click to enlarge. These are brought new. This is my personal collection. Just state Top picture or bottom.

My ever-classic Skinfood pedicure range. I swear by these guys. They are are really great one-coaters. I will get these new.
Who says blue and green should never be seen? These beauties are screaming out for ya! The green in the middle is a yummy jelly. Click to enlarge and yes, these will be new. :)
Hot hot hot! The orange is lovely and (top picture, last bottle on the right) is a beautiful red shimmer. These will be bought new.

The bottle with the gold cap is my favourite rose gold one. People have said they don't see the gold. I don't know why I say rose gold either sometimes, it's just the shade and I can't explain it. :) The black for this range requires 3 coats (Just a warning :)) But it dries to a nice glossy black. Yes! More new bottles!

Soooooooo... Any questions?

If you want to swap please just let me know. Rainbow and Skinfood is an 'endless' supply. However, if I do head out to the shops, and they don't have the colour that you want, I'm not giving you mine. ^^ I will try my best to source it from either Singapore or Malaysia. So you might have to give me a bit of time.

The other brands is first come, first served. I only have a bottle of each and those are colours I don't like on myself. >,<

I must also figure out how to put this as a link or another page. My html skills do not exist. And I can slaughter zombies, kill hordes of ogres and have a couple of lucky headshots... But I can't create webpages...

*sigh*

But seriously, have fun browsing and just leave me questions in the comments section.

I will get back to ya ASAP! ^^

NOTD: OPI Who the Shrek are you and Catch Me in Your Net

Taken in the shade! I really love Catch Me in Your Net. Goes on smooth and looks beautiful in 2 coats.
Who the Shrek are you is a creme and I found the formula a bit goopy. It is a 3 coater I guess. I did only 2 coats. It really needed the 3rd for eveness but the sun was out and I quickly did my swap list shots. ^^

In full sunlight. My middle finger is getting better but my cuticles are peeling. Again. I miss ONE day of putting cuticle oil and this is my punishment.

Watch out for my swap post! :)

NOTD: Anna Sui No. 333 and some OPI Buys

Hellos all!

This is a light shimmer glittery pink. 2 coats.
But I hated it on my nails. It makes them look sooooo yellow and gross. The only up side is the rose scent.
Imagine using a single rose petal to dig your nose. ^^ It's just like that.

I have a really bad habit of scratching my nose when I'm nervous. So when I had that meeting with my boss, at least it smelt pretty. >,<

But I did buy something. Although I should be saving more money...

Can you guess which 2 colours?

Close up! Caaaaaaaan you guess?

Yes! It is!

By the way, I promised this lovely lady from nailpolishuk that I would have my swap list up and ready by Friday.

Happy belated Vesak day to all Buddhists! Sorry to digress.

It has been rainy here in Singapore. Dark and overcast. The pictures I took were crap. So let's hope Sunday is a sunny day.

Will swatch these 2 polishes soon.

Byes all!

NOTD: Sally Hansen True Love 66

Why is True Love the number 66? Since my nails are nubbins *growl*, I decided to go for a light neutral colour.
It's soooooo not me.
2 coats. Light and shimmery. Very safe. Bah. The middle finger is still red and a bit sore. It's growing but very very slowly. Maybe I'm just impatient.

Bonus Pictures!

Sleeping Cookie. She looks so sweet when she's not grumpy.

I'm sorry this looks so gross. Floppy was sleeping. Not dead despite the picture. He was almost impossible to wake up til dinner :) Then he was up like a flash.

Day Off and Shopping Blues

I got myself a BIIIIIIG bag. How big you say?
That big! Don't believe it? Different angle then.
Ooooooooo....

It's currently sale season in Singapore. The Great Singapore Sale. Not that there's THAT many sales in Singapore.

It's only the New Year Sale, the Pre-Chinese New Year Sale, the post chinese new year sale. The Easter sale (pre and post), end of season sales (times 4) Hari Raya sale (pre and post), Deepavali sale (pre and post), labour day weekend sale, National day sale, June holidays sale, Christmas sale (pre and post).

Just to name a few.

But i got this bag at about 65% off. It was a bargin.

And it was an evil buy.

I'm heading to Vancouver end of the year for 3 and a half weeks. During that time, I'm making a trip to Seattle. And possibly, Disneyland and Universal Studios in LA. It would be my first trip there.

And I'm excited and broke thinking about it.

I'm visiting a girlfriend in Vancity, so my room is free. *phew* Thanks mamajaja!

So, it's a day off and I'm doing maths. Evil maths.

Looks like I'll be living off air, grass, mud and public restrooms tapwater til December.

NOTD: Yellow and Blue Flag Nails (Or what used to be)

Hi all! It's only after I finished my manicure that I realised it looked just like the Swedish flag.

Meatballs anyone? ^^

And I got a new bag! ^^ It was an impluse buy though.

I think you guys will be seeing photos of my shopping these 2 weeks. Cos, after I took my nail pictures, I gave my dogs a bath.

My nail got hooked on Floppy's collar and...

it got torn straight off. Ouchie! So I had to clip all my nails.

*sob*

NOTD: Goldfinger.......s

Faceshop gold! It's not really my colour. I like it but not on me. Top picture without flash, bottom with flash. It's really a lovely gold. I just wish it looked better on me.
It really is pretty. 2 coats. But, I couldn't stop that. I had to play around more.

What did I do? ^^

NOTD: Beige 'Dummy' Hands

Hellos everyone!

I think this is my shade! This i just one coat but it makes my nails look 'clean' and not discoloured.

With flash.

And without flash.

This is just a sneak of what manicure I have planned for later. ^^

Cheap Nailpolish

These were $1 bottles I found at a pushcart near my place. Look at the close ups of the glitters! The purple is a burple (blue/purple) therefore immposible to photograph accurately.
The black one (which I love) has hints of silver, red and blue glitter. The purple has loads of silver, purple and blue glitter in it.

But, when I cracked open the bottle, I nearly died. It stank! My goodness someone crack open a window!
I have never smelt any polish that smelt that bad.

But was it worth the smell? The brush was easy to use and it was 2 simple coats.

The smell...............................

Yes, this was 2 coats. The black is pretty! The purple needs to be used a topcoat to really let it's beauty shine.
Click for closeups.

^^
But, my goodness, the smell! Thank god we don't have smell-o-vision.

NOTD: Grey with Red/Silver Glitter

Hi all! The first shot ws taken in full sunlight. The second one with flash and the last one in the shade without flash.

I would say the last picture to be the most colour accurate.

Same old, same old. 2 coats of grey. 2 coats of glitter. I like the density of this glitter. It's enough for a topcoat. ^^ It doesn't hide the grey, just highlights it.

" I'm still not looking at her cuticules!" says Floppy.
