NOTD: Purple Chrome Rainbow

Wow! Just one thin coat of this polish and no top coat in these pictures. Preeeeety!

Seriously, I wonder why I pay S$23 for OPI when this S$2 beauty applies better and look how pigmentated it is! Is any OPI a one-coater? >,< I doubt it.

But I adore this purple-blue and I will be wearing this a lot more often. ^^

NOTD: Sweet Spiders (Or not)

Hi all!

Been inspired by all the purple manis with spiders. So I decided to attempt to kick it up a notch.

Note the gold 'web'. Or attempt at anyway.

2 coats of OPI Done Out In Deco. Konad Plate M1. Used the Konad gold and black special polish. However, I added extra good pigment into the gold one. Thus why the gold can actually be seen.

I really liked this mani until a child commented that my nails had "coo-too" or ticks on them.

Ummmm is this true? I HOPE NOT!

It will soon be removed regardless. Ewww. The tick picture just gives me goosebumps.

NOTD: Jewel Tips

With flash. These are 2 coaters. Rimmel's Green with Envy. And Skinfood Pedicure Vita 03SX1 (purple).

Out in the sun. Isn't it just lovely? And see, I was a good girl and actually did a clean up before I took these pictures. ^^ It does make a different but I prefer letting it 'go' the natural way.

The jewel tones are so rich and match my new dress. *muah ha ha ha ha*

Mini Swatches

1 coat of Done out in Deco with 2 coats of the Sylvie. It's a very pretty combination. The first pictures shows a truer colour of the polish in the bottles. The second one is better for the colour on the nail.

2 coats Kose Sugar Plum. First picture without flash. Second with. The polish looks more like the second picture but just a tad bit darker.

The colour looks lighter in the bottle then on the nail. It has a beautiful green flash and reminds me of a mermaid's tail. Rimmel's 819 Green With Envy.

 First picture, bottle colour accurate. 2nd picture (Below), strangely more accurate nail colour, minus the shimmer. Rimmel 640 Twinkle.

And last, the worst of the lot to photograph.

 2nd picture, accurate for nail colour. Last picture for bottle colour. Both are from canmake and 1 coat of each.

NOTD: Silver Screen and Purple Layers!

Hey! I decided to paint my nails with Revlon's silver screen. Here it is with one coat!

Pretty shabby eh? I used just one thin coat. I was thinking, hmmmmm what would pump this up? Another 5 coats? Nah... I decided to layer some purple glitter over it (Ash's loot) and thus...

I dented my middle finger slightly in the process. I have no idea how it happened. I put on just one coat of the purple glitter and *boomz* pretty shimmery goodness! Click for a close up.

I realised my nails are like a Monet painting. Good (to view) from far, far from good. ^^

I guess everyone is worried about their cuticles and hangnails and overpainted nails. But we are human and no one(in real life) will stare that closely at your nails. After a couple of showers, my nails look perfect. ^^

More Polishes and an update

Work has exploded. And because of my extreme procastination of paperwork, I am suffering now. I deserve it though. No one to blame but meself.

And yes, about comments. I am a tech idiot/moron/dimwit/dumbo. I stupidly turned on 'No comments allowed'. But it should all be working now. *cross fingers*

But yes, on to happier things. I am shopping tomorrow for my giveaway. And I have decided to have 2 prizes! A grand prize *drumroll* and a mini prize! Rules and such at a later date.

And I shall have to give thanks to my good friend Ash(not her real name). She *sniff sniff* shifted back to Canada a few days back and I'm going to miss her loads. Although I'm seeing her in December, cos I'm planning on spending Christmas in Vancouver! Ohhhhhh, Claires! But I digress.

Since my darling Mama Ash was leaving, she gave me her mini nail polish hoard.

So I have 16, almost new, polishes! (Including a mini Sui ^^ ) Ash buys polishes I would never buy for myself. In case you haven't noticed, I love bright polishes, especially green and purple. Ash is a classy classic chick. So, her stash is mostly pinks, pales and bright chilli reds. But it's lovely! Thanks honey!

NOTD: PInk and Blue

Skinfood Pedicure Vita in Pink and Sephora glittering nail polish Blue Sapphire. The blue is truly beautiful. The second picture shows how wonderful the glitter is, all suspended in the bottle. It looks dark blue-purple in the bottle. But a true blue on the nail.

2 coats of each. Great application. I wanted silver french tips. Somehow, I just realised, I have NO silver glitter in my collection. Who believes that? I didnt. I swore I would have had at least ONE bottle of silver glitter.

So, yes, enjoy the glitter jelly goodness.
